Principal Investigator
 | Maxwell Parsons is an Assistant Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering and an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Physics. He received his PhD in physics in 2016 in the group of Markus Greiner, where he developed the lithium quantum gas microscope. After his PhD, he spent 6 years as a research scientist at Atom Computing and Reality Labs, before joining UW in 2022, initially to lead the QT3 lab. When not in the lab, he can be found singing with Seattle Pro Musica, seeking out good food, or enjoying some splendid isolation among the mountains of the Pacific Northwest. |
Graduate Students
 | Julie Chen is a PhD Student in Electrical and Computer Engineering. She received her B.S. in EE, and her research interests lie in coherent spin control in diamond NV centers and solid-state quantum computing. |

Ohik Kwon is a PhD student in Electrical and Computer Engineering. He received his B.S. in EE from Iowa State University with a minor in Physics. Outside of the lab, he enjoys photography and reading. |
 | Kevin Wu is a PhD Student in Electrical and Computer Engineering. He received his BS in Math and Computer Science from William & Mary in 2024. Outside of school and research, he enjoys weightlifting and both sweep rowing and sculling on Seattle’s lakes and waterways. |

 | Aarjav Jain is an undergraduate student majoring in CS at UW working on developing optical systems for our neutral atom quantum processor. In his free time, he likes reading, going on hikes, and swimming. |

 | Ben Miller is a visiting scientist from the Army Research Lab, where he writes research software to simulate various quantum systems. He received his BS in Math and Physics from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo in 2019. Outside of his research work, he enjoys cooking, all types of outdoor time, and running tabletop roleplaying games for his friends. |
