Global Electrical & Computer Engineering Program

Annual Programs

The Global Electrical and Computer Engineering Program — a joint program of the University of Washington’s Department of Electrical Engineering and the International & English Language Programs — has been offered every year since 2014.  For six weeks during the summer, students study the core fundamentals of electrical engineering at a top-ranked American university and enjoy visits to local companies and fun sites around Seattle.

2019

56 students participated from Shanghai Jiao Tong University, University of Science and Technology of China, Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications, University of Electronic Sciences and Technology of China, Shanghai University of Electronic Sciences, and Yuan Ze University.

2018

  • July 16 – August 24, 2018

50 students participated from Shanghai Jiao Tong University, University of Science and Technology of China, Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications, Harbin Institute of Technology, and Xidian University.

2017

  • June 26 – August 4, 2017

40 students participated from Shanghai Jiao Tong University and the University of Science & Technology of China.

2016

42 students participated from Shanghai Jiao Tong University.
