The conference deals with various ethical and legal issues surrounding near-future technologies. The BioRobotics lab contributed two papers to the conference that refer to our ongoing work in <a title=\"Teleoperation Security\" href=\"http:\/\/brl.ee.washington.edu\/teleoperation\/teleoperation-security\/\">teleoperation security<\/a> and <a title=\"Closed-Loop DBS\" href=\"http:\/\/brl.ee.washington.edu\/neural-engineering\/closed-loop-dbs\/\">closed-loop DBS systems<\/a>.
